Does your dog need to make friends and have fun while you’re at work or school?  We believe that it is just as important for the health and development of your dog to socialize as it is for children.  Our goal at Paradise Pet Hotel is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment during the weekday. Are you a busy pet parent, is your pet home alone? Then sign him or her up now for Doggie Day Camp. Your pet will enjoy exciting, fun-filled days while you're away at work or play.  Drop your dog off in the morning and pick him up in the evening. Your pet plays with his friends all day, and is supervised by a staff member. There is naptime and cuddle time (timeout, if needed!) and tons of fun. Make grooming day fun by combining it with a day of Day Camp play!

Paradise Pets has the largest outdoor playing area of any facility in Bloomington - Normal, Illinois area. The outdoor addition for small and medium dogs measures over 100 feet in length and 40 feet wide. While on the large dog side the addition measures over 100 feet in length and 60 feet wide. Both areas have trees for shade and shaded pavilions for lounging on warm afternoons. Depending on the weather, these areas are regular outdoor areas which the dogs have access to during the day. And, in the Summertime we have swimming!

Doggie Day Camp meets the needs of so many dog owners and their pets. For so many people, their dogs are their children, and to leave them cooped up in the house or apartment all day long makes them feel guilty and sad for their pet. Dogs are social animals and enjoy being part of the pack, so to play together at day camp is ideal for them. Many dogs experience separation anxiety when left alone during the day. They may destroy furniture, have accidents in the house, bark non-stop or get very very stressed out. Doggie Day Camp can be a tremendous help to these dogs and their owners. Often dogs need a positive channel for their energy and Paradise Pet Hotel provides the ideal environment for play.

Doggie Day Camp is $16.00 per day. 

• We do not offer half days, it is $16.00 for any length of time your pet is here.

• All dogs must have an ID tag (first and last name).

• All dogs must have a snap release collar for their safety and the safety of the other dogs.

Day Camp Baths:  We offer a day care bath (if requested) at the end of your dog's play day.  This is half the price of our regular bath package.  This is only a quick shampoo, rinse, and dry.  No nails, ear cleaning or brushing is provided with a shampoo and dry. You may request a full bath, brush, and toenails if that is what you might desire for your pet.

A Typical Day Camp Schedule:  Morning Activities:  Our daycare dogs have access to our entire facility and are under constant supervision.  The indoor facility is used all year round, especially on very hot, cold and wet days.  Our specially designed outside play yare and pool is used daily, weather permitting. Dogs will be divided into groups by size and temperament.  We provide constant supervision and play. Your dog will wrestle, play ball, play tug-o-war, run around both indoors and outdoors, and have quiet time on a pillow, bed or lap. Lunch and Snack Time:  If you would like your dog to be fed during the day please bring the food in a bag/container and label it with your dog's first and last name. We no longer give out treats because so many of our daycare dogs have allergies.  If you would like your dog to have a few treats throughout the day you may bring those labeled as well. After Lunch Activities: After the campers rest their full bellies they will be back out to play or nap, whichever they prefer!  The day goes so quickly when your having fun and it will then soon to head off for home.
